About Us

Calling all female Rails developers! Whether you are a veteran developer or just starting out, this group is for you. Rails Girls TO is a volunteer-led community group, focussed on helping females learn Ruby on Rails and web development. Our initiatives aim to foster growth of the female developer community in Toronto, and provide opportunities for women to improve their coding skills and network with others.

We are dedicated to providing harassment-free learning experiences for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. Men are also welcomed to attend our events, and are highly encouraged to bring a female friend with them.

Join us on Meetup and Slack, and follow us on Twitter @railsgirlsTO!
